WebCT quizzes work in popup windows. If you have popup stopper software on your pc you will need to disable it. This can be done by right clicking on the associate icon in the bottle right of your screen then checking the disable option or from the Privacy Settings for Windows XP Service Pack 2.
First click the Privacy Tab in the Internet Options dialog box.

Now set the slider to medium and de-select "Block pop-ups".

Spyware: A general term for a program that surreptitiously monitors your actions. While they are sometimes sinister, like a remote control program used by a hacker, software companies have been known to use spyware to gather data about customers. The practice is generally frowned upon.
We recommend running anti spyware software regularly to keep your pc free of unwanted code. Programs such as AdAware , Spybot and Microsofts Anti Spyware program can eliminate spyware from your machine. If you cannot get to the WebCT log on screen, lots of popup windows or any other odd browser behavior then you probably have spyware installed. Darton College is a secure environment and takes no responsibility for incorrectly installed software. To install the above mentioned programs please read the necessary installation instructions and disclaimers.
