Part 1: How to set up your computer and Web browser
In order to gain access to online courses or Web support pages in GeorgiaVIEW, Internet access, a Windows or Macintosh based desktop or laptop, a supported Web browser such as Internet Explorer, Safari or Mozilla Firefox, the Java plug-in, and various other plug-ins such as Adobe Acrobat Reader and Real Player will be necessary.
The first step in preparing your computer to use GeorgiaVIEW is to go through the Browser Tune-up. Should the Browser Tune-up detect any issues, it will direct you on how to fix the problems and where to download any necessary software. The Browser Tune-up is a critical piece in setting up your computer correctly. Not having a supported Web browser or correct Java version can cause technical problems within GeorgiaVIEW.
This page contains additional information about how to get started with Georgia VIEW.
