Choose from one of our many Online Degree and Certificate Programs Please be sure to read your COURSE SPECIFIC ORIENTATION Please also be sure to check your BROWSER SETTINGS Online courses use a broad spectrum of technology-based instructional methods including online multimedia presentations, e-mail, discussion forums, chat rooms, faculty web pages, and on-line assessment. All students enrolled at Darton College automatically receive a campus e-mail account to facilitate access to instructional technology. Course schedules and requirements for online classes are determined by individual course instructors. Off-campus computer hardware and Internet access are the responsibility of the student.
Distance Learning occurs when the instructor and the learner are separated by time and/or location. Darton College offers a variety of distance learning options for students seeking alternatives to traditional classroom instruction. Darton's Distance Learning program has received national recognition from the National Council of Instructional Administrators for exemplary initiatives in the use of technology. Darton College currently delivers a variety of Online Classes, many of which are offered through the Southern Regional Electronic Board's Electronic Campus. Distance Learning courses at Darton College are supported through Channel 19 telecasts, web-based instruction, video conferencing, the Darton College Library, the Georgia Library Catalogs, the Darton College Bookstore and the Instructional Technology and Distance Learning Department. Registration and Admissions for Distance Learning classes follow the same procedures as for traditional enrollment at Darton College. Students are expected to meet regular admission deadlines. For admissions procedures contact the Darton College Admissions Center. Apply Online - Applicants for admission can complete an easy, step-by-step online application. This service, offered by GACollege411, charges the normal $20 admission fee. Current class schedules and course offerings are available online, and enrolled students may complete registration through the BANNER Web Registration System.
