Registration

Distance Learning students may complete the registration process online using the BANNER Web Registration System (see the complete registration procedures below.)  All distance learning students must complete standard Darton College admission procedures prior to registration. The registration procedure is considered officially complete only upon payment of fees.

Currently enrolled, eligible students may register online for the Spring semester. Use the BANNER Web Registration System or contact your online advisor.

You will be mailed a notice with your advisors name, office phone number, e-mail address and location. Eligible students are strongly encouraged to register early to secure desired classes. The BANNER FAQs page provides instructions for completing online registration through the BANNER system. The registration procedure is considered officially complete only upon payment of fees. Students requiring Learning Support and students with undecided majors will need to contact their advisor for registration.

On Campus Pre-registration: July 9-10 , 2007
Currently enrolled students may pre-register on campus for Spring Semester during this week. Eligible students will be mailed a notice with their advisors name, office phone number, and location. Eligible students are strongly encouraged to pre-register to secure desired classes. The later a student waits to register - the higher the likelihood is that classes may be full.

  1. Students must contact their advisor to complete a registration form.
    (It is necessary to prepare a trial schedule before speaking with an advisor)
    1. Available appointment times will be posted at each advisor's office.
      Office times will be between the following:
      • July 9-10 8:00am - 6:30pm
    2. Advisors are available in the evenings by appointment on Monday and Tuesday only.
    3. Students may register by phone by calling their advisor during the following times: (all times EST)
      If there is no answer at the advisors office, contact the division office.
      • July 9-10 4:00pm - 6:30pm
  2. Students who have pre-registered and must change their schedules due to incorrect classes may do so only on July 25th, 1:00 - 3:00 pm.
  3. Fees are due by 5:00pm on July 25th. To pay by mail, send a check or money order payable to Darton College with the bottom section of your bill. Do not send cash. If the bank returns your check, your classes will be cancelled and a returned check fee will be assessed. If a student's schedule is purged, the next opportunity to register on campus will be August 14, 2007.

On Campus Registration: August 14, 2007
Students who have not pre-registered will be mailed an invitation to register on-campus.

  1. Begin registration at the main entrance to J-Building from the back parking lot.
  2. Print your Academic History (J-Building lobby)
  3. See an Academic Advisor to register
  4. Print your schedule/bill in J-133
  5. Pick up a Student Parking Decal in J-133
  6. See Financial Aid Counselors that will check your records and verify your available funds in J-133
  7. Proceed to the A-building lobby to pay fees
  8. Proceed to Bookstore - purchase books
  9. Proceed to the Cavalier Arena to obtain Student ID Card (students with 4 or more hours) - Physical Education Building

Late Registration: August 16, 2007
Students who do not register on August 14, 2007 may register on August 16, 2007.
