IMPORTANT NOTE:
Beginning Fall 2007, this course will incorporate a OneKey epack. This will require the purchase of an access code in order to have full access to the course, and to take the quizzes/tests.
Required Textbook and access code:
(Textbook and access code bundled kit)- sold at Darton bookstore only (approx $105.00)
A World of Art & OneKey WebCT S/Access Kit Pack
ISBN: 0316147704/9780136147701
How to purchase your required textbook and access code:
Each student must have his or her own access code – it cannot be shared or reused. You will validate the access code the first time you log in to the course, and you must create a login name and password. If you are having technical issues with your computer, internet access or the access code, be sure to contact the help desk ASAP, and let me know. It is a requirement for the course to have a functional computer with internet access (or you can use the computers on campus).
** You MUST have your textbook and code within 5 days of the first day of class- you will not be allowed to make up any missed quizzes, tests or discussions due to not having the textbook and code. It is your responsibility to have the required materials to complete this course.

Quizzes/Tests:
Each quiz or test (except the final) will be available for a 3-day period, from 12:05 am Wednesday until 10:00 pm Friday. Each quiz or test is posted on the calendar. There are no makeups if you miss a quiz or test. If you have work schedule conflict or will not have internet access during the scheduled test period, you must contact me at least 24 hours prior to the beginning of the test, not after the test has begun or has finished.
Be sure to post the calendar in a highly visible place, so you remember to take the tests when scheduled!
Discussion Board:
Each chapter has a discussion topic, and you must post a response to the topic on the discussion (under the correct section) to receive credit. All discussion topics will be available at the beginning of the semester, but will be unavailable at the end of the corresponding test period (10:00 pm Friday).
You may post your response on the discussion board early, but I will not accept late postings. Be sure to check the calendar for due dates.
Messages posted on the discussion board are visible to everyone in the class- please refrain from profanity or slang.
Think about your response, check your spelling, respond to your classmates’ postings and interact virtually with each other.
