CISM 2201/1100/1101 - Online Course Orientation

This class uses Microsoft Office 2007.

You cannot use Microsoft Office 2003 for this course

If you do not have access to Microsoft Office 2007

You should not take this course online.

Welcome to your online CISM course. In this course you will use two tools for course management, assignment submission, testing, and communication. WebCT/GaView will be used for communication and textbook assignment submission, and myitlab software will be used for task specific training and testing.

The myitlab software is a tool for hands on training and assessment. It provides instant feedback similar to what you would receive in a classroom setting. You cannot complete the course without myitlab access, so you must ensure that you can either install myitlab on your home computer, or make it to the campus computer lab to use it.

Once the course begins, please log on to WebCT/GaView, read the syllabus, and familiarize yourself with the layout of the course. If you have any questions after logging on to WebCT/GaView and reading the syllabus, please contact your instructor using the information found at the top of the WebCT/GaView course homepage.
