| COPR 1114 Facilitating Learning Online |

This course is designed for faculty and future teachers who are or may be facilitating online courses. This course demonstrates and shares a spectrum of online learning concepts, theories, and principles using interactive and collaborative experiences. It is designed to improve the facilitation skills of faculty members who offer online courses in higher education and is focused on theory, concepts, and practices for effective online facilitation. F.L.O. is presented in Web CT Vista and models effective facilitation skills, however it is not intended to teach specific technical skills related to WebCT Vista or any other software used to deliver online facilitated courses.

| COPR 1122 Introduction to Instructional Technology |

A course designed to introduce the student to the use of computers, software and the Internet in the online academic setting. This course will offer a survey of the theory of instructional design and the use of the computer as an instructional tool. This course will include online lecture and discussion, textbook readins, and hands on activities to introduce the student to instructional technology.

A course designed to introduce the student to the selection, creation, utlization and evaluation of web-based tools in the online classroom environment. Students will learn how to evaluate and select web-based tools and applications for use in the online classroom as well as how to implement and utilize applications in the online classroom setting. |

A course designed to introduce the student to a variety of communication technologies that can be used in the online classroom environment. Students will learn how to use discussion boards, email, voice/video chat, instant messaging, and blog/journaling within their courses to enhance student-teacher and student-student communication. |

A course designed to familiarize students with the process of instructional design. This course will introduce students to the systematic process of analyzing the learner, developing & selecting objectives, assessment instruments, and instructional materials and evaluating and re-evaluating the instructional design of a course. |
| COPR 2225 Advanced Spreadsheet Applications |
|
The study of advanced topics in the use of electronic spreadsheets. Hands-on experience will be provided through the use of a popular spreadsheet software package such as Microsoft Excel.
Prerequisite: Grade of C or better in CISM 2201 or CISM 1100 or have a working knowledge of a spreadsheet package and a Compass score of at least 30 or completion of MATH 0097.

Designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully plan, implement, and troubleshoot a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Active Directory directory service infrastructure. The course focuses on a Windows Server 2003 directory service environment, including forest and domain structure, Doman Name System (DNS), site topology and replication, organizational unit structure and delegation of administration, Group Policy, and user, group, and computer account strategies.
