Apply Online - Applicants for admission can complete an easy, step-by-step Online Application. This service, charges the normal $20 admission fee.

Application Categories:

Traditional Students are students who have attended high school within the previous 5 years. Traditional students must submit the application for admission and non-refundable $20 application fee and official copy of the high school transcript and SAT (ACT) scores.

Non-traditional Students are students who have not attended high school or college within the previous 5 years, as well as students who were admitted to previous colleges as non-traditional students and completed fewer than 30 transferable hours of college credit. Non-traditional students must submit the application for admission and non-refundable $20 application fee and official copy of the high school transcript. Non-traditional students are not required to submit SAT I/ACT scores; however, COMPASS placement test minimum scores of 78 Reading, 71 Writing, and 37 Math must be provided.

Transfer Students are students who have been previously enrolled in another institution. Transfer students must submit the application and non-refundable $20 application fee and official transcripts from all colleges and universities previously attended. Transfer students who have completed less than 30 transferable semester hours must complete all of the requirements of traditional student admission.

Transient Students are students who are enrolled in another college or university and seek temporary admission to Darton College. Transient students must submit the application for admission and non-refundable $20 fee and a letter from the registrar or other designated official from the home institution recommending admission as a transient student.

College graduates must submit the application for admission and non-refundable $20 application fee along with proof of degree.

Darton College requires a placement test to determine whether the applicant has to take Learning Support classes or whether they are exempt.

All applicants must take the placement test unless exempted by the Admissions Office. All official records should be sent to Admissions as soon as possible so that Placement Test status can be determined.
