The Darton College Online Degree Program in History provides the
opportunity to earn an online associates degree while keeping up with
the busy schedule of work and home. This program provides convenient
scheduling and flexibility allowing you to complete your course work via
the Internet while earning the same quality degree as students attending
the Darton campus in Albany, Georgia. The online program includes a
total of 64 to 68 credit hours of coursework meeting University System
of Georgia standards in the core curriculum, with 18 hours of credit in
the history major. Under the recommended program of study, full-time
online students will complete the Associate of Science degree in just
four semesters.

Area G Physical Education
Student completing their degree totally online will satisfy
the physical education requirement by meeting the fitness
competency. The online fitness course PHED 1161 fulfills the
fitness competency requirement. Students who complete any
portion of the degree program by attending classes on the Darton
Campus must meet the regular Physical Education Requirement of 1
course for each semester of full time enrollment.
